"OOOOHH! I HATE THAT MAN! I HATE THAT MAN!"
» Appearance
Jaqueline is around the same height as Claude Frollo. She's at the same age as Raoulin, yet she still sports ruby-colored hair with defined waves. As a prostitute, she wore a skimpy red and pink dress, just to let others know that she was a sex worker. As a noblewoman, she wears a navy blue dress with gold patterns and a necklace. She also wears a green and gold torque with white veils that covers most of her hair, in which she stole it from another noblewoman. When nude, Jaqueline has love handles due to being pregnant with Raoulin's son, Beau. She has a C-cup breast size, and has pubic hair on her nether region.Personality
Due to her dreams being ruined by mostly everyone she has ever encountered, Jaqueline is cynical, and has grey morals. That means if she were to be in a relationship with someone like Paolo, she would be the sweetest woman they could ever meet. However, if she is in a relationship with someone like Raoulin, Jaqueline would be the most naughty woman who could scheme everything, from praising them to downright degrading them (i.e., calling them "pathetic"). When she was poor, she had no hesitance to steal anything nobles would have due to her hate towards them. Even when she became a noblewoman, she despised the ladies of the King's court who gossiped about her and her relationship with Raoulin.Story
Jaqueline Debien was born a peasant in the city of Paris. Despite the harsh living conditions, Jaqueline had a loving family who reassured her that one day she can rise like the morning sun with a better living, such as handling a house. As Jaqueline grew up to be an adult, she would find herself in the harsh reality of being poor, especially being a poor woman facing constant misogyny and abuse. So, she began to work at a brothel as a prostitute. Her prices were quite expensive, but the fair amounts of gold she got paid with were for that stable living her family wanted. She also stole several items that would usually belong to nobles, such as a green and gold torque with white veils, which belonged to a noblewoman whom she encountered, and a cane, which came from another nobleman. One day, Jaqueline would soon meet Raoulin De Caux, the King's Legislator, at La Pomme D'eve. At first, she found Raoulin to be quite the promiscuous gentleman. Raoulin gave 10 gold pieces for a full night of sex, which Jaqueline gladly accepted. Soon, Jaqueline developed a friend-with-benefits type relationship: At every week, Raoulin would meet up with Jaqueline, giving 10 gold pieces for a full night. It was a win-win deal as Raoulin would get his quick fix in sex while Jaqueline could use the money for the decent living. However, Jaqueline, without knowing that she did, often had to put up a persona that was seductive and satisfactory for the nobleman. One could say that Jaqueline might have grown an affection for Raoulin as well.
Everything would change when Raoulin brought his new lover, Claude Frollo, and 40 gold pieces for a threeway. At the end of the threeway, Raoulin finished inside her, impregnating her in the process, without her noticing it until a few months later when Raoulin is fully engaged in the relationship with Frollo. Jaqueline soon found sanctuary in Notre Dame, seeking for answers. There, she would come to the full realization that Raoulin manipulated her into thinking that she could be Raoulin's lover while in reality, Raoulin left her to rot.
Nine full months finally came to pass as Jaqueline would give birth to Raoulin's bastard son Beau, but abandoned the child to the front door of a shepherd. Jaqueline did not want anything to do with Raoulin until one day when Beau arrived with Raoulin, demanding answers and hopefully heal the De Caux name. She refused at first, but sooner or later, Jaqueline will consider to help reconcile with Raoulin, Beau, and Frollo.
And so, she did. She then agreed to marry Raoulin, which he soon has an heir, that being Beau, and a lover, that being Frollo. Jaqueline would gain enough wealth to truly thrive without solely relying on sex work as well as the agreement that Raoulin had nothing to do with her other than make decisions about Beau. Raoulin would give Jaqueline an estate in Burgundy for her and Beau to live in while Raoulin and Frollo would both reside at the Palace of Justice in Paris. All the while as Raoulin and Frollo would do things on their own, Jaqueline would meet Paolo, an Italian bard who is genderfluid with a feminine identity known as Erica.
However, everything changed when Jaqueline was called back to the Palace of Justice. When she arrived, she heard the news that Frollo had died in a violent rebellion and Raoulin is in mourning. Thus, she came to Raoulin's chambers to comfort him, but he was anything but grieving. Raoulin was in a deep depression full of bargaining and rage. Jaqueline hated to watch her husband constantly vent about how he should have saved Frollo in the uprising and how he hated Quasimodo, the bellringer of Notre Dame, for killing Frollo, as he claimed so. Whenever Jaqueline tried to have Raoulin consider why Quasimodo would allegedly kill Frollo, Raoulin would tell her to shut up and throw her the occasional insult related to her sex (i.e., calling her a "cunt"). Ironically, soon after Raoulin died, Jaqueline attended Raoulin's funeral, but brought Paolo along to comfort her. Soon, she would live happily with Paolo as his new girlfriend.
